Joey Smalls hosts College Of Knowledge Records at Sydney Road Street Party. The independent, artist-led label has documented Melbourne's instrumental movement since 2018 – founded by Lachlan Stuckey and Jethro Curtin, releasing music by Surprise Chef, Karate Boogaloo, Brenda, Temporary Blessings and The Pro-Teens.
As DJs, the duo champion soulful sounds, moving intuitively through deep soul, funky jazz, leftfield disco, dancehall and boom bap hip hop.
Local Brunswick revellers and Sydney Road Street Party enthusiasts – all are welcome.
