Burmese singer-songwriter Naung Yoe performs live in response to visual artist Ma Ei's exhibition Pit Yourself Against.
A special live performance by Burmese artists, singer-songwriter Naung Yoe and exhibiting visual artist Ma Ei. Blending music and movement, the performance responds directly to the themes of Ma Ei’s exhibition, Pit Yourself Against, creating an intimate dialogue between sound, body and image.
Pit Yourself Against brings into focus the invisible struggles and unspoken truths we carry when we are not at peace. Through newly created video and photographic self-portraits, Ma Ei reveals the fragility, resilience and emotional depth of human experience, inviting reflection on what it means to seek peace in an increasingly turbulent world.
