Books, Tunes and Snips – a relaxed afternoon with Asian Australian creatives, designed to spark conversation, connection and creativity.
Taking place at That Paper Joint, the afternoon will run two collage-making sessions with artists from Pierrot's Room – all materials provided – accompanied by ambient tunes from local Asian Australian musicians SHERRY3.14, Xing Xing and Juniper Care.
These craft sessions are fun, fast-paced and collaborative. Participants will create a record artwork with a link to a playlist curated by the 3 music acts. After each 90 minute session, audiences will walk away with their own unique playlist and a ton of new music.
For this special event, the craft sessions are creatively developed and facilitated by Pierrot’s Room (an art collective for QTBIPOC), and not by the artists at That Paper Joint.
