Nothing compares to the atmosphere and good vibe of the Sydney
Road Street Party when the good citizens of Moreland reclaim
the street for one of the biggest multicultural gatherings in
Melbourne. Its a genuine all-ages day, celebrating peace,
understanding and cultural diversity. So come and join us for
a day of music, song, dance, kids shows, street theatre, culinary
delights from around the globe and market stalls to keep you
attired, inspired and informed.
Moreland City Council has introduced a local law that
prohibits the consumption and possession of alcohol on Sydney
Road for the duration of the street party. Consumption of
alcohol is therefore restricted to licensed areas only.

Catch the Tram to the Street
Party. Tram No 19 runs from Coburg to Blyth St and then
from Weston St to the City. A bus replaces trams from
Blyth to Weston Streets via Lygon Street.

508 Bus Moonee Ponds to Alphington.
Upfield Line Train to Jewell or Brunswick Stations.
Tram service will be replaced by bus service all day.

Northbound at Union Street;
