Sydney Road Street Party Trader Participation


The Sydney Road Street Party will be held on Sunday March 4 2012.

As always, Sydney Road Traders whose business is situated north of Union St and south of Victoria Street are invited to particpate in the Sydney Road Street Party. Please complete the TRADER PARTICIPATION FORM (below) and submit this to us by January 30 2012.

RESTAURANTS AND CAFES
If you are a cafe or restaurant operating within the Festival precinct, you must indicate if you intend to sell or display food in the street outside your business. If YES you will need to:

1. Complete the Trader Participation Form by 30 January 2012 which will let us know that you intent to have a food stall.

2. Apply for a Moreland City Council Health Permit for the day. You will receive your application form in the week beginning Monday February 6, 2012 and you must return this form to our office no later than Friday February 10 February 2012.

3. Hire an Approved Marquee. If you intent selling food or displaying food on the street outside your restaurant or cafe you MUST do so within an approved marquee which we will arrange for you and have set up for you on the day. We are hiring these to you at cost price from our supplier:
3 x 3 metre marquee: $145
6 x 3 metre marquee: $285.

If you do not have an authorised marquee you will not be issued with a Moreland City Council Health Permit.

TABLES AND CHAIRS OUTSIDE YOUR BUSINESS
If you intend to set up tables and chairs outside your business, you may only do so on the trader side of the curb line (ie on the footpath).
