Classic films with contemporary
scores at Brunswick 2008
- dall'italia all'australia [From Italy to Australia]
In 1924, the acclaimed Italian film producer Stefano
Pittaluga commissioned director Angelo Drovetti to embark
on an epic voyage of some 8000 nautical miles armed
with his trusted movie camera. Original music by Kavisha
Mazzella, all traditional tunes arranged and performed
by Kavisha, Irini Vela, Dave DeSanti, Mark Holder Keeping.

1964 Japanese classic with live soundtrack by Mike Cooper
Mike has been presenting silent film and live soundtrack
at the festival for 12 years.

Opening Events for the 20th Brunswick
Music Festival
Moreland City Council gets audiences in the groove with
two free events on the weekend before the concerts starting
28th February. Music For the People features the Victorian
Concert Orchestra on Saturday 23rd February followed
by the traditional opening celebration, the Sydney Road
Street Party on Sunday 24th February.
