KATE MILLER-HEIDKE Intimate Acoustic Show
The festival is proud to present a special acoustic show from Kate Miller- Heidke, surely one of the most original and successful of Australia's young contemporary artists. Since the release of her 2008 recording, the curiously named Curiouser, Kate has been filling the main venues of the Australian circuit with her full touring band. Accompanied only with two guitars and her piano, Kate more space to breath, to be more relaxed and playful, and offers an opportunity to get closer to her audience. Kate is an adventurous songwriter and performer, there's nothing straight about Kate, strong melodies and clever, sharp witty lyrics. And lets face it this girl has style, and an amazing collection of frocks. Book early for this intimate evening with a very classy artist.

TONCHI McINTOSH
Tonchi McIntosh was brought up 'the back o' Bourke'. His musical journey has seen release of one album 'Bridges" produced by Shane Howard, and one self produced EP Gallipoli. In recent years he has performed at all the major folk festivals in Australia, and supported such acts as Michelle Shocked, Chris Smither, Bruce Cockburn, Archie Roach, and Kev Carmody. Now resident in Melbourne he has teamed up with young beat box and rap artist Jaezed, in a unique line up of vocals, guitar, beat box, and occasionally drums. It is truly original, and defies categorization, its folk for a new age.
