FLAP!
Flap! -I is one of our most unique local creations, innovative,
entertaining, intoxicating, musically invigorating, cheeky
and sexy. Most of all they are utterly original in this huge
and rapidly expanding world of Melbourne roots music. Featuring
the voice and ukulele of the gorgeous Ms. Jessica Guille,
dancing rhythms and stunning improvised solos - think Jelly
Roll Morton and Boney-M meets the Bushwackers. Flap! sing
songs about falling off cliffs, getting naked and being poor,
as well as the universal themes of love and intoxication.
With a sound that is individual, altogether Australian and
specifically Brunswegian, Flap! Released their first full
length CD in November 2008 to a barrage of nodding heads and
admiring glances, its beauty.

The latest addition to the group is vocalist Sally Dastey,
once a member of the fabulous Koori trio Tiddas, and now swinging
