After a long absence from the Brunswick Festival Archie Roach is again treading the boards, continuing his life journey spreading his beautiful music to new generations of Australian audiences. His new album Journey produced by long time musical cohort and fellow traveler Shane Howard he describes as a reaffirmation of identity, country, belief and spirit. His new songs are a marriage of Aboriginal and Western philosophy from the heart and mind of an extraordinary writer and singer.

A much-loved elder statesman of Aboriginal music, Archie takes us on a journey of epic dimensions but the music and the message are absolutely clear and uncomplicated. Archie's new show is shared and complimented by two of his most trusted musical friends, Shane Howard and David Arden. Both are writers and singers of immense talent and in addition to performing as Archie's band they will also contribute to the show in a solo and duo capacity.
