TRUCKSTOP HONEYMOON
Truckstop Honeymoon play breakneck breakdowns or heartbreak waltzes.
Like a Dodge with a burnt out clutch, their music has two speeds and
no reverse. Katie Euliss pounds a doghouse bass while Mike West picks
his banjo mercilessly. Together they sing songs and tell stories too
funny not to be true. Since hurricane Katrina washed them out of New
Orleans, they have toured relentlessly, playing festivals from Norway
to Tasmania.
SARAH
CARROLL & THE BLUE TINSEL Sarah Carroll is well known throughout Australia as part of
GIT, The Pirates Of Beer and The Junes, and is currently airing new
songs for her third solo album. Sarah's current release, Wahine, received
warm praise and has been described as " beguiling and sparkling"
by respected music industry writers. Sarah's character, humour and
passion for music shine through in every song, and her obvious sheer
joy of performing conjures an instant connection with her audience.
Her band, The Blue Tinsel, comprises Melbourne and Bellarine roots
royalty and features the great Andy Baylor on guitar and fiddle. View
