YOUNG FIDDLERS OF THE MELBOURNE SCOTTISH FIDDLE CLUB
A gang of young rebel fiddlers have formed their own performing group, an offshoot from the Melbourne Scottish Fiddle Club which has been running for fifteen years. Many of these young musicians have grown up with the club, and many play with a variety of other performing groups. Nowhere is this more evident than this group of young fiddlers from the MSFC, who have inherited the joyful exuberance the fiddle club is renowned for and also branched out in their own directions. Jack Wilson, Lucy Wise, Gus Downing, Pria Schwall-Kearney and co bring you vocals, piano, ukelele, banjo and of course many fiddles in a energetic blend of Cape Breton, old time and Quebecois songs and tunes as seen through a Scottish filter
