Tokyo kings of turbo charged 'Godzilla Funk'
Raw, deep and soulful, Mountain Mocha Kilimanjaro conjure a monster brand of turbo charged ‘Godzilla funk’. Hailing from the outskirts of Tokyo, you could imagine this über-dapper instrumental six-piece stepping straight out of a 70s saké-soaked, James Bond-esque manga.
Their energetic sound is intoxicating. A slick concoction of fast and furious jazz mixed with cosmic psychedelia and dynamic rock.
Amassing devoted fans in every city they’ve played, Mountain Mocha Kilimanjaro have built a solid reputation for themselves as one of the leading players in the global funk scene and one of the funkiest musical exports out of Japan.
Resistance to booty shaking is futile.

Sugar Fed Leopards
Like a glitter comet from the wild side of the disco globe, Sugar Fed Leopards are a blazing sextet who ignite dance floors with their cosmic cocktail of disco, soul, doo-wop and hip swinging rock ‘n’ roll.
With smoking hot costumes, sweet harmonies, tight dance routines and a cranking rhythm section, Sugar Fed Leopards have been breaking a disco-sweat for the last two years, working damn hard to get the people of Australia in the good mood.
And working it is! Hitting the bull’s eye earlier this year, Sugar Fed Leopards launched their debut album ‘Sweet Spots’ to sell out crowds of hysterical fans, expanding the horizons for this party hungry band.
South American Roots outfit Madre Monte finds inspiration in the myths, folklore and music of Colombia, with a focus on taking these ideas and making art that is contemporary and that expands the Latin-Australian musical and mythical connection.
A tight rhythm section, Afro-Colombian progressions, skankin’ guitars, hard hitting horns, lyrics in English and Spanish and a touch of electronic sounds to top it off all, intertwine to create what is now one of the most sought after Roots act in Australia.
2014 saw Madre Monte teaming up with world-renowned act The Cat Empire for an Australian tour that had them play in front of 30,000 people over 6 weeks and inspired the upcoming album due for release in March 2016.
